In 2012, I designed a web-based platform that enabled corporations and event planners to efficiently book and manage large blocks of hotel rooms for corporate events. Streamlined workflows allowed planners to upload attendee lists, automate room assignments, and monitor inventory in real time, reducing manual effort and booking errors while integrating seamlessly with partner hotels.

Group Info
Displayed a centralized view of essential event details — including event name, dates, primary contacts, communications, and payment information.
Reservations
Displayed a complete list of attendee reservations within the group, including check-in and check-out dates, room type, and booking status. Enabled planners to quickly review, update, and track room assignments at scale.

Displayed complete reservation information for each room — including guest name, check-in and check-out dates, room type, and payment details.
Process Room Lists
Alerted the ListMATIC representative when room lists were pending processing. The representative could then select and upload the appropriate Excel file to be processed.
Match Fields from Excel File
One of the main challenges was that fields in uploaded Excel files often did not align with ListMATIC’s database fields, leading to booking errors. To resolve this, I designed an intuitive, easy-to-use interface that enabled representatives to quickly map mismatched fields.

Representatives could simply hover over a field and click a Match button to align it with the correct database field.

Once matched, a check icon appeared to confirm success.
Corporations needed to reserve hotel rooms for conferences involving tens of thousands of attendees across multiple groups. Planners typically submitted large Excel files in inconsistent formats, making the process error-prone and time-consuming.
