What began as a three-month project with Fidelity Investments in 1995 evolved into a 15+ year engagement. Recognized for the quality of my work, I was referred to multiple divisions within Fidelity, where I delivered UX designs for desktop and mobile platforms serving retail investors, active traders, wealth management professionals, financial advisors, employee benefits programs, and other business lines.

Fidelity set out to launch a new family office business, and I served as the sole designer for this Windows-based application. I collaborated closely with product managers and investment advisors to define user stories, create wireframes, and develop high-fidelity mockups. The design received positive feedback from usability studies and was praised by Fidelity Management. The product was successfully launched.

The project presented unique challenges, including slow internet speeds, low screen resolution, and designing for users’ early adoption of smartphone technology. The initial iOS interface featured bold colors and large buttons to ensure clarity and ease of use on small touchscreens.
